And do you know what I've learned because of seeing this pattern? It doesn't matter WHAT is happening outside of me, the peace and love for life and joy I embrace is mine no matter what comes. My soul determines how I respond to the life experiences that come. My thoughts are my choice.
*sigh* Ridiculous is the word that comes to mind. And unnecessary. And maddening. --- I need more yoga when I think about this. (serenity now!)
You cannot gauge your pathway based upon another's. You cannot compare yourself to your neighbor and think that is the way to know whether or not you're "rightly" living ... the rightness of living comes in following the energy of your soul and the light within YOU. If it is joy, peace, and love to you? It is the way to your divine potential. --- That is it. That is the simple test ... the fruit of YOUR journey bringing you expansion.
I could talk forever about this and the truth is you have to figure out your own gauge. You have to follow your own joy. You have to go toward the light within you. Your way to your divine potential is unique and individual and will be your own brand of joy. It won't look like my way, don't go MY way ... go the way that sets YOUR soul free.
Will she or even I get it "right" all of the time and never look at the negative? No. We're human. We will not be perfect, but we don't have to be perfect. We just have to be trying today to be better, to look higher, to see the love instead of the hate, and to focus on all that fills us with light instead of dwelling on the garbage. In trying each day to be a little more positive than the day before, a little kinder, a little gentler, a little more loving, a little more thoughtful we are doing what we can.
Each of us has a unique "brand" of being. A way to live, a way to love, a way we exist that is unlike any other. It is entirely unique to us. It looks like no other, it acts like no other, it talks like no other and that is as it SHOULD be. You are here to be YOU. You are here to discover what is within YOU and to embrace that and offer THAT to the world.
