That's the awareness behind EVERYTHING. Every moment. Every contact. Every thought. Every feeling. It is all one.
When we each come into greater peace, it affects ALL of us. We're connected. We're ONE energy ... each of us is significant and can make a difference.
I don't always welcome the triggering circumstances, when they present themselves, but I am beginning to see that they DO provide opportunities if I look.
You can become invisible ... so the only thing that is seen in your expression of beingness, is the Light of all that is. And in that invisibility there is peace, and power and purpose.
Guess what happens then? Nothing. The thought goes. I don't activate it further by dwelling on it, thus giving it momentum, I just let it go and I become present. "I am here. This is now."
And so I look at this Mother's Day with excitement, joy, love, and the knowledge that I am gently and infinitely expanding into lovelier and brighter energy each day. I am ALWAYS looking forward at who I desire to be. And that looking forward propels me into that ever increasing energy.
When you shift your focus onto the things that inspire you, that bring you light and love and rejuvenate the cells of your body, you're embracing the stuff that matters, the stuff that counts, the things that ARE helping you. Bit by bit you are fine tuning the energy of your being.
The challenging experiences in our lives serve us. They allow us to know more and see more, and in those we are able to become more of who we truly are.
Today was an opportunity. And the tears were there to remind that I'm human and life is about feeling and BEING human. There is unity and harmony in owning that. I am HERE to experience human being-ness.
Life is much easier for me when I am focused on what IS. When I'm truthful about what is before me, even if it's not the most desirable experience, it allows me to deal with it in a real way that helps me learn from it more quickly. When I have learned the lesson, it "goes away."
And so when things arise that are not planned, I look at them and maybe roll my eyes, maybe mutter under my breath that "isn't this just dandy" and then I face the new track head on. Because the other choice is to resist what is, and that's insanity. It is there. I can't change that it is. Might as well live with it and have peace too.
There is something in each of us that is MEANT for us. Your only job is to find it and embrace it. Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Do what you LOVE. When you do, your "job" won't be a job at all, instead it will be a gift you offer the world.
