Hi. I’m Honor.
I am a writer. (I LOVE expressing myself) I am a wife. I am a mother to seven (7!) growing learning people. I enjoy music, reading, hiking, trees, any nature really, laughing, fruit, playing, and just BEing.
My goal in life is to be light, to expand my joy, and to fully discover and OWN who I am. I am SO on board with loving myself fully. I know when I do that, I open that energetic space in the world … the “I love myself exactly as I am” space. When there’s more of THAT energy, we can all freely and deeply be who and what is in us to be. Without worry. Without fear. Just owning the unique expression that is ME.
I invite you to read my words with that in mind … it is me owning me, which allows you to own YOU more fully.

It is easy to go through life and to struggle and fight against all that happens. We think that when we have a flat tire we've hit a "hitch" in the plans and if we take an unknown turn we're off course. Not so. I do not believe that. I believe that we are each exactly where we're supposed to be for our greatest maximum potential for learning and growth.

LOVE fills the void that is threatening all of us. Love does it. More violence doesn't do it. More anger won't help. More separation and ugliness and littleness and fear will not bring what we, as a human family, are so desperately "calling for." We need more love to be extended. More patience. More kindness. More thoughtfulness. More humility, more hope, more unity, more faith. These are what bring healing and these are how we fill the needs that as a society we have.

Every moment we have a choice to drop everything and fill the needs of those around us. Sometimes we aren't able to do that, and that's ok. Those times though that we are? We should do it. We should literally drop what we had in mind, like eating breakfast and writing a blog post, and drive to the park because the kids wanted and needed it. We can look at the world around us and say to ourselves, "is there a need I am able to fill?" and then fill the need when we're able. Doing this brings a joy to life that is unmatched and not attained in any other way.

You cannot gauge your pathway based upon another's. You cannot compare yourself to your neighbor and think that is the way to know whether or not you're "rightly" living ... the rightness of living comes in following the energy of your soul and the light within YOU. If it is joy, peace, and love to you? It is the way to your divine potential. --- That is it. That is the simple test ... the fruit of YOUR journey bringing you expansion.

As I was "walking" my heart rate down before I had to be home ... with 8 minutes to spare to take my daughter to middle school, I just felt this gratitude. I said to that "God Universe" space within me, "Thank you thank you thank you. I am grateful I can run, I am grateful the sun is shining, I am grateful I am continually sustained, and I am so grateful I see who I am. Thank you for helping me see."

Will she or even I get it "right" all of the time and never look at the negative? No. We're human. We will not be perfect, but we don't have to be perfect. We just have to be trying today to be better, to look higher, to see the love instead of the hate, and to focus on all that fills us with light instead of dwelling on the garbage. In trying each day to be a little more positive than the day before, a little kinder, a little gentler, a little more loving, a little more thoughtful we are doing what we can.

God, Universe, Existence, the source of all that is IS love. That is the nature of that which created us. And creation is expansion of oneself ... Be open. ASK for guidance. LOOK for it everywhere and at all times ... it will come when you least expect it and when it does it will change everything ... a change in PERSPECTIVE is a miracle in my book, and I am ALWAYS grateful for miracles. They come to me in perfect timing exactly when I need them. And in those miraculous moments of a shifted energy state, a changed perspective, or a lit spark within me - MY BEING EXPANDS.
