I don't always welcome the triggering circumstances, when they present themselves, but I am beginning to see that they DO provide opportunities if I look.

After a moment "in the light" I feel like I can do anything, I can meet any challenge with greater ability, and I can give MORE love and light into the world just because it feels so good to do so.

Guess what happens then? Nothing. The thought goes. I don't activate it further by dwelling on it, thus giving it momentum, I just let it go and I become present.

135 | What I Would Like My “5 Years Ago” Self to Know
Life is much easier for me when I am focused on what IS. When I'm truthful about what is before me, even if it's not the most desirable experience, it allows me to deal with it in a real way that helps me learn from it more quickly. When I have learned the lesson, it "goes away."

And so when things arise that are not planned, I look at them and maybe roll my eyes, maybe mutter under my breath that "isn't this just dandy" and then I face the new track head on. Because the other choice is to resist what is, and that's insanity. It is there. I can't change that it is. Might as well live with it and have peace too.

I could write paragraphs and pages and maybe even books about all the different scenarios and why it's unhelpful to dwell on them. I could explain over and over about how what we dwell on shapes and "creates" our world. I could go through explanations about energy and thoughts and the law of attraction and your ability and freedom to choose etc. etc. etc. ... I'm just going to give this simple "key" to peace that I have observed. ...

Take a leap. Take a step. Take even just a tiny baby "scootch" toward your goal. Every tiny step is still a step forward! Forward is movement. Movement is growth. Growth is relieving and joyful after all!

And that is the point I guess ... my heart is full. And because I know that is possible in every circumstance, I understand that yours can be too in whatever you're doing. You have the power to see your life in whatever perspective you choose.

Be open. ASK for guidance. LOOK for it everywhere and at all times ... it will come when you least expect it and when it does it will change everything ... a change in PERSPECTIVE is a miracle in my book, and I am ALWAYS grateful for miracles. They come to me in perfect timing exactly when I need them. And in those miraculous moments of a shifted energy state, a changed perspective, or a lit spark within me - MY BEING EXPANDS.

Isn't it amazing that sometimes when you are having a "day" ... you know the kind ... maybe you're just in a funk and you don't know why ... and then all of a sudden out of nowhere you will receive something that makes you feel loved, or induces a smile, or causes you to laugh or something that lightens your mood. It's not a coincidence. It's because your energy is part of ALL of existence and the Universe conspires for your good. When you are down, there is something or someone that can and will help you feel better. Look for that thing. Expect that thing.
